A lot of things said about Christmas. How we lost a true reason for the season. How the world does not acknowledge the Christ of Christmas. How “stuff” and consumerism totally absorbed our society and Christians.
I believe it is worthless to try to make our society acknowledge and love the God that they hate in their holidays. We are to strive to find true worshipers of God, who are consumed by His Word and by His will. People who do not know God, can not revere Him. People who are blind toward His death can not realize the significance of His birth.
Let true Christians dive into praise and acknowledgment of God and his blessing of birth without holding back, and let the world look at as and be astounded. Christ is worthy.

“Hallelujah, We’ve been found
A child is born to save us now
Hallelujah light has come
A Savior who will set us free
A Promise for those who believe”

Life of a Christian is full of small things that we never notice. Some sins we never know what we have. Blessings we never know that we receive. Conviction we never dare to recognize. Small pleasures we are never grateful for. Feelings we never able to identify. Thoughts we never even captivate. Attitudes we never notice. My mother used to tell me all the time that her big life consists of small things. With my teenage maximalism I denied it with passion. Big and bright things, I argued, were the only things that were important. God demands perfection in all ways at all times in all measure at all strength. Small things are vastly valuable and eternally important.

Front the front burner of my daily devotions.
Judges 11:29-40 is the great story of the vow between Jephthah and the Lord. Jephthah went against Ammonites and vowed to God to give as a sacrifice the first person, whom he will see at his house, for the victory over the Ammonites.
The fist person Jephthah saw at his house was his daughter.
Fearing God and knowing the vow he tore his clothes and cried.
Here is not the question of Jephthat backing away from his own word, here we see the value of God. Jephthat worshiped God by his acts of faith.
Here is the main point of the passage though. We see the clear example of radical/biblical womanhood. Jephthah daughter says: “My father, you have opened your mouth to the LORD; do to me according to what has gone out of your mouth…”
This is the dedication to the Lord. The life-give-away kind of dedication. Here the will of God is not just a “good option” for life but the ultimate good. She took pleasure of God as a higher motive then her own life.
“Because your steadfast love is better than life…” Psalm 63:3
This is the value system of a radical/biblical christian.

At 5 p.m. EST on the 18th of August I landed at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
It was all again like in 2005, when I landed first time in Atlanta to go to college for my bachelors. Now it is 2009 and I came back for my masters.
Grateful to God for the opportunity to spend summer in Belarus. There have been huge blessings and deep valleys, but for all that grace abounded.
Now as never have a desire to go back and minister in Belarus for Christ’s sake. Seems like this summer gave me a foretaste of what it is going to be. Now seeing the need and the opportunity, I need to give attention to the things that will fulfill the need and the opportunity.
“God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.” Psalm 67:1-3
